Lachlan's interest in real estate started when he was 15, when he shadowed a sales agent on the Northern Beaches for his school work experience. Every year afterwards, he went back to the same agency and began to establish his foundation in real estate. Lachlan secured his job right out of school by seeing the advert online. Lachlan knew that he wanted to get into real estate once he had completed the HSC, but found that the actual path was fuzzy at first. He searched and eventually found a job in leasing, which has now allowed him to transition into sales.

In his previous role as a leasing executive, Lachlan got the chance to be involved with lots of prospective tenants of property very quickly. Whilst he was only in leasing for about 2-3 months, he gained experience from some of the best performing staff members in the Ray White network.

Lachlan greatly wanted to work at Ray White Surry Hills | Alexandria | Glebe | Erskineville because of how fast-paced the property market is in the surrounding areas. There is a laid back culture with some of the resident's in the area, mixed in with the pockets of corporate offices and lifestyles. He is excited for the opportunity to establish his name in real estate and in the area.

Lachlan loves working in a large company like Ray White. To him, "the name is probably the most identifiable agency name in Real Estate across Australia. Additionally, Ray White is known for having a large staff, which is an amazing opportunity to learn from a variety of people."

Lachlan enjoys working with such a diverse group of people as it has enabled him to find his unique business dialogue and has also been his biggest motivator towards succeeding in his role. 

In his spare time, Lachlan loves working on his photography skills, playing AFL casually and generally being active.
